Makam Tuan Tulis

Tuan Tulis is a prominent scholar in Negeri Sembilan past the end of the era of 1800 to early 1900.

Tun Tulis or Tuan Tulis is a title given to a scholar named Negeri Sembilan Haji Ismail Bin Hussein. He hails from Kampung Kuala Talang Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan. He was born in the 1840s and died in 1923. Write Tun is a poor young but full of enthusiasm to study religion. Because of poverty, he could not afford to buy books. Therefore, he borrowed books from friends and copy book with their own writings. From there his friends calling with Ismail Write the title. After his studies, he was relentless wrote the book until the villagers refer to Tuan Tulis. After he died, the YDP Negeri Sembilan ordered large building built on the tomb Tun Tulis and building remains to this day.


Lock the door to the tomb is kept by the heirs of Tuan Tulis who live near the tomb.

He keep his buffalo and buffalo-buffaloes instructed not to eat rice and crops the villagers, buffalo-buffalo seems to understand his instructions.

He is very loving animals and freedom. Until one day he bought a lot of caged birds and people after buying the birds he even let go.

Tuan Tulis more famous
missionary informal attitude. He prefers to community outreach and advising people how to get along without them feel satisfied. He is sociable with children.

Such is the life of the scholars' loved by God. They indirectly invite the community to love God with the most wisdom. Allahua'lam.
